About me

Can you relate:
Growing up I was extremely self-conscious about the way I looked. I HATED exercise, hated wearing shorts, and used to fake asthma to avoid playing sports and participating in gym class.

I was shy, awkward, hated attention, and was terrified of failing, not being liked, and being made fun of. Then I discovered the gym and it's connection to feeling better about myself. I ended up teaching aerobics classes to pay for my gym membership and became aware of the impact my passion had on others. For the first time in my life, I started to feel confident.
It wasn't long after high school that I started to struggle with self-confidence again when feelings of not being good enough returned. Getting into running helped me find myself again and it was a way for me to build my self image and self worth. Running became a passion of mine, and I trained for various distances beginning with 5kms, working up to the full marathon, and most recently 200 miles.
I became a personal trainer because I wanted to help people enjoy fitness and I became a coach because I wanted to help people feel good about themselves. Since creating Boundless Pursuits, I have learned the incredible (and delicate) balance between fitness, nutrition, and mindset/self image.
